A World-class Perimeter Protection
FerraPod is a certified grid system that provides a secure and flexible protection adapted to the conditions of the premises. The system is approved according to SS-EN 1627—30 RC 4 and SSF 012 class 4, which corresponds to Swedish protection class 3, and thus meets high requirements for burglary protection and physical security.
The grid is manufactured with millimeter precision and installed without hot works, allowing installation to take place without disrupting operations or creating dust and particulate matter — a crucial advantage in sensitive environments such as data centers and technology spaces. Thanks to its modular design, the FerraPod can be easily adapted with openings for doors, ventilation and wiring, both indoors and outdoors.
Dimensions of the Grid
Vertically, steel posts (VKR) with a steel core are installed at 240 mm or a maximum of 270 mm center-to-center to meet certification requirements. Posts can be installed closer together depending on site conditions. Horizontally, 16 mm steel tubes are installed at 166 mm center-to-center.
Design
Powder-coated white steel as standard, but FerraPod can be supplied in any color, including stainless steel A2 and A4 for demanding environments.
Openings
Openings can be placed anywhere within the construction. Customers can choose the FerraPod grating door in RC4, available as a single or double door.
Standard cages
We also offer standard cages in three sizes with a FerraPod door included. The standard concept allows for faster delivery time and assembly as it does not require any design. The door requires mechanical locking chests ASSA 510/511 or 850/851.
